Reopening of Lytham Primary Care Centre

Please note we are in the process of returning to business as usual at Lytham Primary Care Centre.

Following the announcement earlier this week about a temporary closure of Lytham Primary Care Centre, we can now confirm the building has reopened.

Small amounts of legionella – a bacteria commonly found in natural water sources and in purpose-built water systems – were discovered during routine testing of the building’s water supply.

Cleaning work has been completed and there is no risk to patient or staff safety.

Due to ongoing repairs, there will be NO patient welfare facilities within the building for the next 14 days.

Alternative facilities are available in the form of portable toilets located on the car park.

The Partners at Holland House Surgery and Fernbank Surgery thank residents for their support and understanding and apologise for any inconvenience that has been caused.
