If you are receiving regular treatment you can obtain your repeat prescription without seeing the doctor. You may, however, be asked to see the doctor on occasion to ensure everything is as it should be.

With each repeat prescription a tear-off slip is provided listing your medication. Keep this slip safe. To re-order a drug, tick the box next to it (You may write other drug requests on this slip for consideration by the doctor).

Hand the completed slip into reception and allow a minimum of two working days for it to be processed and signed by a doctor.

Please remember to order in advance of public holidays, when the surgery and most chemists will be closed.

Unfortunately, we are not able to take repeat prescriptions over the telephone

We are now offering repeat ordering online – please contact the surgery for a PIN ID to enable you to use this service.

Alternatively, you can register with the online Patient Access system to request your repeat prescriptions, as well as book and cancel appointments and send secure messages to us.

Please allow 48 hours (two working days) for your prescription to be prepared. Please note however that in exceptional cases where there is a query about the request please be aware this may take a little longer.
You can also order your prescriptions through a local chemist and the prescription will be sent directly to them. We now use EPS so please check with your preferred chemist that you are signed up with them.
