Nominations now open for local NHS awards

Do you know someone or a group that has gone above and beyond in helping local people? Have they had a positive impact on the health and wellbeing of residents across Fylde and Wyre?

At its annual general meeting (AGM) on 4 August, NHS Fylde and Wyre Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG) wants to celebrate the outstanding contributions of people and organisations in its area who are transforming people’s lives, improving health services and putting patients, service users, carers and communities at the very heart of health and wellbeing.

NHS Fylde and Wyre CCG chair, Mary Dowling, said: “The CCG aims to commission high-quality, local health services across Fylde and Wyre. We can only do this with the tremendous help of all of our staff, volunteers and local organisations. The CCG Awards will allow these unsung individuals to be recognised for their hard work.

“This is the first time the CCG has decided to deliver an awards ceremony at the AGM and we cannot wait to read through all of the nominations. We want to hear from as many residents, workers and organisations in Fylde and Wyre as possible.”
