PATCHS - Our new online system

Holland House Surgery, alongside NHS England and our Primary Care Network (PCN) is investing in new technology to help increase access to GP services making it easier for you to get in contact with the practice for all of your healthcare needs.

This new system is called Patchs and will be accessible online via our website or via the NHS App.

By sending your request online you will not need to wait on the phone to explain your problem to a receptionist – there’s never a queue online.

When you use Patchs you might not need an appointment to get help with your health issue and we will be able to help you by email, text, telephone or video consultation. Face to face appointments will still be available too. However, Patchs should not be used in a medical emergency and you should continue to dial 999 to get help for these.

Please watch this video: 'PATCHS - Contact your GP Online' - YouTube which will tell you a bit more about the system.

You will be able to use a smartphone, tablet or computer to access Patchs. At the outset, we will only be accepting non clinical requests via Patchs because we have to get used to the system as well. We will keep you updated on changes as we move through this process.

If you have a smartphone, please download the NHS App if you haven’t already done so. If you need help setting up the NHS app, please contact the surgery and we will help you where we can.

Please keep checking back on the website or use our Facebook page (FB Name Hollandhousesurgery) to keep up to date with what’s happening at the practice.
